Fabric Doll #2

 

Using the same pattern from the original dolls in my previous post "Paper Dolls = Fabric Dolls" I decided to make my beautiful girl a OOAK ballerina doll. These Fabric Dolls are so fun to make, so worth the time invested.

Paper Doll = Fabric Doll

When my daughter made these paper dolls for me a light bulb went off in my head. My mind is always running with ideas. I thought how awesome would it be if I made these paper dolls into actual fabric dolls!  I love my daughters drawings and this for me was a great way to honor her art.

It took me about 4 hours for each doll. I used a pattern that I found on Pinterest from the web site www.makeit-loveit.com. My daughter was so surprised to see these fabric dolls and to see how similar they were to her drawings.
